Job Title: Full-Time Seasonal Ski Coach

About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and experienced full-time seasonal Ski Coaches to join our team for the winter season. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing young skiers in a fun, challenging, and supportive environment. You'll work with athletes on weekends, during holiday camps, and potentially mid-week training sessions depending on program needs. Assist in project management, travel arrangements and other administrative assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Coach youth athletes (ages [insert age range]) across various skill levels, from fundamentals to advanced technique and race preparation.
- Lead weekend training sessions, holiday camps, and special events.
- Create and implement age-appropriate training plans.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on athlete development, safety, and enjoyment.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and coaching staff.
- Assist with race day setup, logistics, and athlete support.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skiing skills; coaching or competitive racing background preferred.
- Experience working with children and teens in a coaching or instructional role.
- Organized, reliable, and team-oriented.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and select weekdays from December to March.
- Minimum age 18.
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Coaching certifications (PSIA, USSS, or equivalent) are highly preferred – training may be provided for the right candidate.
